Keep Canadian sugar non-genetically engineered

Since spring 2008 genetically engineered sugar beets have been planted in the US. Rogers is deciding whether to us GE beets in their sugar.

Rogers Sugar, which is also under the brand Lantic Inc. is the only processor of sugar beet in Canada. They are deciding whether GE sugar beens should be planted in Alberta this spring. GE sugar beets have been engineered by Monsanto to be resistent to their herbicide Roundup. Tell Rogers/Lantic not to use Monsanto's GE sugar beets, and to keep Canadian sugar GE-Free. Click here to send an email to the President of Rogers Sugar/Lantic Inc.
