Profile

The North Shore Recycling Program (NSRP) is the local municipal recycling department for the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, and District of West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Jointly funded by these three municipalities, and managed by the District of North Vancouver, the NSRP plans and administers all municipal recycling and waste reduction activities on the North Shore, including the contract with our current collection and processing contractor, Waste Management of Canada.

Our Mission: To make conservation second nature on the North Shore by moving the community from environmental awareness to sustainable action.

The NSRP offers and administers a variety of programs and services to North Shore residents. Here is just a sampling:

- Single-Family Blue Box (Curbside) Recycling Program
- Multi-family Blue Bins Single-Family Blue Box (Curbside) Recycling Program
- Multi-Family Blue Cart Recycling Program
- Curbside Yard Trimmings Collection
- North Shore Recycling Drop-off Depot
- Natural Yard Care Education (composting, grasscycling, mulching, etc.)
- Environmental Information and Referral Service
- Composter Sales and Building Plans
- Special Programs (worm bin distribution, etc.)
- Mentorship
